1. Who we are

MEDIA EDGE AGENCY SARL (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a limited liability company registered in Lebanon. We operate BrokerHub360, a real estate CRM platform that helps real estate agencies and brokers manage their listings, clients, and communications.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.

2. Data we collect

We collect data in three categories:

(a) Account data, when you or your agency signs up:

• Name, email address, phone number
• Company / agency name and contact details
• Login credentials (passwords are stored hashed)
• Billing information where applicable

(b) Customer relationship data, entered by agencies and brokers using our platform:

• Property listings and related media
• Lead and contact information (names, phone numbers, emails of prospective buyers and tenants)
• Notes, tags, and activity logs

(c) Messaging and communication data, including WhatsApp Business messages exchanged through our platform:

• Message content, timestamps, sender/recipient phone numbers
• Message delivery and read statuses
• Media attachments shared in conversations
• Voice notes and call logs where applicable

(d) Technical and usage data:

• IP addresses, browser type, device information
• Pages visited, features used, time spent
• Cookies and similar technologies for session management and analytics

3. How we use your data

We process personal data only for these purposes:

• To provide and maintain the BrokerHub360 service
• To facilitate WhatsApp Business communication between brokers and their clients via the WhatsApp Business Platform
• To process payments and manage subscriptions
• To provide customer support and respond to inquiries
• To improve our service through analytics and product research
• To send service-related communications (account notifications, security alerts, updates)
• To comply with legal obligations under Lebanese law

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects on you.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process your data on the following legal bases:

• Performance of a contract: to deliver the services you’ve subscribed to
• Legitimate interests: to improve our products, prevent fraud, and ensure service security
• Consent: where you’ve explicitly opted in (e.g. marketing communications)
• Legal obligation: where required by applicable law

5. Third-party services and data sharing

We share data with the following third parties strictly to operate our service:

• Meta Platforms, Inc. — for WhatsApp Business API message delivery, Facebook/Instagram integrations. Messages exchanged via WhatsApp pass through Meta’s infrastructure as part of the WhatsApp Business Platform.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers — to operate our servers and databases.
• Payment processors — to process subscription billing.
• Analytics providers — to understand product usage patterns (anonymized where possible).

We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

We may disclose data when required by law, valid legal process, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

6. International transfers

Some of our service providers (including Meta) are located outside Lebanon. When we transfer data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards including standard contractual clauses and service providers’ compliance with recognized data protection frameworks.

7. Data retention

• Account data: retained while your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
• Customer relationship data: controlled by the agencies and brokers using BrokerHub360. They are responsible for managing retention of their own clients’ data. We retain it as long as their account is active.
• WhatsApp messages: retained while the conversation thread is active and the account is in use. Deleted on request as described in Section 8.
• Technical logs: retained for up to 12 months for security and debugging purposes.

When you close your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law.

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Delete your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Restrict or object to certain types of processing
• Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent
• Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
• Lodge a complaint with a relevant data protection authority

9. Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data:

• Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) for all data transmitted between users and our servers
• Encrypted storage of sensitive credentials
• Access controls and authentication for our staff
• Regular security reviews and updates
• WhatsApp messages benefit from WhatsApp’s own end-to-end encryption between users and Meta’s servers

No system is completely secure. While we make our best efforts to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for:

• Session management (keeping you logged in)
• Security (preventing fraudulent activity)
• Analytics (understanding service usage)
• Preferences (remembering your settings)

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of our service.

11. Children

Our services are not intended for, nor knowingly directed at, individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a prominent notice on our service before the changes take effect. The “Last updated” date at the top of this policy indicates the most recent revision.

13. Governing law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Lebanon. Any disputes arising from or relating to this policy will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Beirut, Lebanon.
